Jack it up! This one is a throwback to the days of 102.7 FM WBMX and 107.5 FM WGCI. I moved up north in 1985, a time when Hotmix cassettes (Chicago House) dominated the street scene. Soulful lyrics, mixes were tight, and the technical aspect made the genre sound futuristic. The cuts in this Hotmix took years for me to recollect. It starts off with basic soulful House tracks and starts "goin' off" circa 14 minutes into the mix, completely jackin it up Chicago style by 17:40. Acid Trax are introduced with soulful acapellas laced over the top, and the cuts begin to roll in back to back. So if you want to get the feel a real Chicago Hotmix, look no further. On top of that, I mixed this up in the Boogie Down Bronx- so nothing here lacks in street flava
